Imagine seeing the perfect sunset with a clear line of sight to the horizon on the Gulf of Mexico near Tierra Verde. Our sunset cruise takes a leisurely boat ride through the Grand Canal of Tierra Verde, where you get to see the homes and the mansions. It is also part eco-tour as we take you past the mangroves of St Pete Beach, and the wildlife that flourishes in the mangroves. In addition to the sunset, you will get to see dolphins and manatees, as well as a wide variety of shore birds. Your captain will give you an engaging narration of the background and history of Tierra Verde, as well as the local wildlife. Our beautiful waters here in St Pete make this the perfect sunset cruise. We are also close to Clearwater and Tampa as well.
Like our other tours, our sunset cruises are strictly small group, semi-private excursions, with a maximum of 6 passengers per vessel. And with your captain as your host, you will get a more personal and memorable experience on our sunset cruises compared to the larger commercial boats. Food and drink are welcome onboard, so bring your favorite bottle of wine. Our boats offer plenty of room to spread out in comfort. We also provide blankets during the cooler months for your comfort.

PLEASE NOTE: We have 4 vessels. If you are travelling with another group, please be sure to book your reservation under the same name if you expect to travel on the same boat with another group who as also booked this tour. Otherwise we cannot guarantee that you will travel together on the same boat.

Cancellations: No refunds for cancellations less than 48 hours before your scheduled departure. No refunds for "no shows". We give FULL refunds if Island Ferry cancels for inclement weather.
